Ability to read and understand English written technical documentation
experience with execution of engine run up on turbo-prop. aircraft (not mandatory)
Theoretical knowledge corresponding to B1 category as defined in Part-66
Type certification category B1
Theoretical part: 15 hrs.
Aircraft or simulator: 2 hrs.
Examination and debriefing: 1 hr.
- Engine ground safety precautions and danger areas
- Engine limitations
- EEC messages procedures
- System tests and checks
- Emergency procedures, static tests, aircraft preparation, motoring, engine start, failure following procedures *
- Note: cancelled for the trainees with the ATR42-400/500/72-212A or ATR72-100/200 series Engine Run-up certificate
- To acquire necessary knowledge and skills to carry out engine run up on aircraft
